The Town of Westminster is looking for a resident to serve as Deputy Emergency Management Director.  Preferred candidates should have strong leadership skills, be well organized, and work well under pressure.  Prior emergency service work although very helpful is not necessary.   Training for this position is available through State and Federal resources. 

 

The Deputy Director fills the role of the Director when he is not available, attends EMD meetings, works with other town departments in planning and responding to emergencies, participates in preplanning with State, Regional Emergency Planning organizations, community groups, and local businesses, and assists Westminster Emergency Management personnel with regard to their training.
